Sinopsis

The plot of the story is set in two narration grounds -  the first one, realistic, follows the adventures of a young comic draughtsman Tomek Milowski, who works in a magazine - Fantasy World. The editor, not satisfied with Tomek`s horror projects, threatens to fire him unless Tomek shows up within few days with a new sensational idea.
Tomek, drowned in gloomy thoughts is visited by a colorful hummingbird Tri-Tri, a character from a story about Mr. Kleks. Tomek refers to Jan Brzechwa`s book and decides to illustrate it with comic strips.  This is the beginning of the story, filled with adventure and unexpected plot breaks, the story of a insidious intrigue of Alojzy Bombel, who decides to draw Mr. Kleks into a tricky trap. In order to fulfill his vile plan Alojzy Bombel, Mr. Kleks`s everlasting enemy, uses look-alikes and masks he created, doesn’t stop short of kidnapping, thefts and treachery.

The story, initiated by Tomek, starts to live its own life, involving the realistic characters in the cartoon plot. Mr. Kleks himself steps in and together with his student Adam they discover the mysteries of Alojzy Bombel`s ominous laboratory.
