International seminar for teachers, cultural and voluntary operators, and all those interested in the quality of life of boys, girls and teenagers of both sexes.
 
The aim
To promote exchanges that widen the cognitive panorama, from a multidisciplinary standpoint, with a specific reference to the field of action of cinema, image and education.

Main themes of the 1998 meeting
New branches of knowledge The changes taking place in technological society impose new approaches, both in teaching and ideas: how should we best equip ourselves for this?
 
Bullying and self-esteem How can we increase self-esteem in boys and girls, and combat violence in schools? Experiences and best practice from a variety of European countries.
 
Media Education As we approach the new millennium, this fundamental element of cultural growth could counterbalance the cultural and sexual stereotypes spread by the media. How to develop educational projects in schools with practical examples.
 
Speakers include
Researcher, university lecturers, teachers, media industry professionals, project co-ordinators from Italy and abroad.
 
Presentation
Lecturers in plenary assembly, afternoon workshops in small groups, screenings of films and/or educational videos.

This is a three-day Seminar.
