MEDIA Salles at SHOWEAST 2005
(Orlando, United States, 24 October 2005)

The third leg of Italian Cinema Worldwide 2005 is about to commence. This initiative, made possible thanks to the support of the Italian Government, brings the most recent Italian productions into the limelight at the main international gatherings of cinema exhibitors. Following the first two editions of Italian Cinema Worldwide, held at Cinema Expo International (Amsterdam, 27-30 June) and at Kino Expo (Moscow, CIS, 13-16 September), MEDIA Salles will be promoting Italian films at ShowEast (Orlando, United States, 24 October), a particularly interesting event since exhibitors not only from the United States but also from South America, the Caribbean area and Canada will be taking part in it.

MEDIA Salles will be present with a selection of the most recent Italian productions soon to be released in theatres on the American continent.
The presentation will be held on 24 October from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm during the International Day, in Crystal Ballroom J of the Orlando World Center Marriott.
It will be followed by a “Networking Lunch” giving operators particularly involved in circulating Italian films the opportunity to meet and share experience and strategies.

The programme of trailers includes:
- Private
- Once You're Born
- Come Into The Light
- Good Morning, Night
- The Days of Abandonment
- Persona Non Grata
- The Keys to The House
- The Tiger and The Snow

Elisabetta Brunella, Secretary General of MEDIA Salles, will present both the “Special ShowEast” issue of the MEDIA Salles’ Newsletter “European Cinema Journal” no. 4/2005, which includes the fact cards on those films soon coming to the markets addressed by the event, and the next appointment with Italian Cinema Worldwide:

– CineAsia, Beijing, China, 13-15 December 2005.
