Transport in Cracow

There is no metro in Cracow, but a very efficient network of busses and tramways.

How to get from John Paul II Airport at Balice to Hilton Garden Inn

The so-called "Airport Taxi" (just outside the arrival lounge) is the quickest way to reach the Hilton Garden Inn. It takes 25 minutes and costs 89 PLN.
Otherwise, get bus no. 292. The airport stop is on your right when you leave the arrival lounge, very close to the trees (don't confuse bus no. 292 with the so-called "Airport Shuttle Bus" that doesn't go to Cracow). The ticket costs 4 PLN. There is a machine at the bus stop.
To go to Hilton Garden Inn, stop at Cracovia. Then walk back for a short distance in the direction of Kijów.Centrum (on Al. Krasińskiego) and take one of the following busses:
144, 164, 304, 173.
When you take one of those busses, Kijów.Centrum must be on your right (otherwise it means that you're heading the wrong direction).
Then stop at Osiedle Podwawelskie.

Those who will join the course after 8.00 p.m. on 28 August are invited to take bus no. 292 and stop at Cracovia at walking distance from Kijów.Centrum, where dinner has been organized.
