Since 2004, DigiTraining Plus has offered a unique occasion for the European cinema professionals to manage digital transition.

The new edition of this 5-day intensive course will help cinema exhibitors to adopt a new way of managing their theatres, programming contents and approaching their audiences.

Target group

Cinema exhibitors and professionals operating in the field of digital distribution and projection, representatives of exhibitor associations and public cinema institutions, film archive professionals, researchers, theatrical programmers and technicians.
Learning outcomes

Skills to operate with greater awareness and effectiveness in digital cinemas; tools for analysing new markets and audiences; knowledge of the most significant experiences internationally; exchange of ideas and networking opportunities; up-to-date knowledge of digital content offerings and integration with social media.
Technology: Focus on the 2016 edition

Cinema exhibition is currently confronted with the replacement of the first digital projectors and with an increasing amount of new equipment and services appearing on the scene: from HFR to laser technology, from immersive sound to dematerialized delivery. Digitisation will bring new opportunities for cinema programming, especially in the field of added content, and for audience development, thanks to the integration with social media and mobile communications.
