Austria: inclusi schermi all'aperto e part-time
Belgio: inclusi schermi part-time
Germania: inclusi schermi all'aperto, part-time, itineranti, schermi municipali e schermi all'interno di club, università, scuole, ospedali e festival cinematografici.
Francia: inclusi schermi all'aperto e itineranti
Finlandia: inclusi schermi all'aperto, part-time e itineranti
Grecia: inclusi schermi all'aperto e part-time
Irlanda: inclusi schermi itineranti
Fonte: Siae
Norvegia: inclusi schermi itineranti
Paesi Bassi: inclusi schermi all'aperto e itineranti e gli schermi in cinema municipali professionalmente attrezzati, anche part time.

Types of screens considered
MEDIA Salles reports the number of screens operating in the year, attempting to use data that is as homogeneous as possible over different countries.
Where possible (and not otherwise indicated), MEDIA Salles reports the number of screens operating regularly on a full-time basis (though with numbers of screenings that vary considerably) in resident cinemas.

Nonetheless, the following exceptions are to be seen:
Austria: including open-air and part-time screens
Belgium: including part-time screens
Germany:
including outdoor screens, part-time, itinerant and municipal screens, as well as those in clubs, universities, schools, hospitals and film festivals. In 2016 these (including porn cinemas) totalled 12.5% of total screen numbers.
